Enthronement to the Sacred Heart

Fr. Mateo, the apostle of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart, wrote, “Every nation is worth what its family life is worth, for a nation has ever been in holiness or corruption that which the home is.  There has never been any exception whatsoever to this rule.”  Fr. Mateo knew that to win society to Christ, the family would first have to be won to Christ.  Thus, Pope St. Pius X commanded Fr. Mateo to spend his life promoting the enthronement to the Sacred Heart.  To enthrone Christ as the King of your home is to make the Sacred Heart the King and intimate friend of your family, and the center of your lives.  In this conference, Mother Mary Bosco describes the origin and the great necessity of this devotion.  She also explains how the enthronement can be done in your own home.
