Though St. Joseph’s life was filled with numerous crosses and trials, he enjoyed the comforting presence and support of the Christ Child and the Blessed Mother.   Let St. Joseph be your model in often turning your thoughts to Jesus and Mary, in performing your daily duties with them and frequently taking a moment to offer a brief prayer to them.  Mother Mary Bosco encourages us to seek earnestly for Christ in all we do, and to persevere in this determination to communicate with Him constantly as a sure means of growing in true holiness.   Mother especially encourages husbands and fathers to take the lead in family devotions, and to show their children, particularly their sons, how to be men of prayer.
