My Mom saved the package to open when I was in town yesterday. When she held it in her hand she says "this feels good" and when she opened it up, she just loved the cookbook. She flipped thru the pages and said Look, here is a recipe with Basil (since I'm growing Basil in my garden.) The book is beautifully designed and the recipes are so awesome. I've owned restaurant and run restaurants. These are legit recipes and the book is just lovely. The cookbook totally made my Mom's Birthday. Thank you so much Sisters for the care you put into the package. The Sisters even made a nice enclosure that said "A gift from" and put my name on it. That was an extra special touch. Thank you so much Daughters of Mary. I just love your website. We are going to use the recipes for the Thanksgiving and Christmas family meal!!!
The recipes in this cookbook are really very good, and the pictures and notes are very inspiring! My favorite recipes are Chex Mix, Bacon Meatloaf, and Beef Tenderloin with Balsamic Sauce. The Daughters of Mary know how to cook and present it beautifully in this lovely book!
