Appearing to St. Gertrude in a vision, St. John the Apostle told her that Christ wished devotion to His Sacred Heart to be reserved for the latter times.  In this conference Mother Mary Bosco explains the object and purpose of this devotion: making reparation for sin and returning love to Our Lord for His great benefits.
