Gratitude is a consciousness of the benefits we have received joined to an expression of thanks for them.  Mother Mary Bosco gives us very simple and practical means of practicing this virtue which is so dear to the Heart of Christ.  She gives us for our example, the mother-in-law of St. Peter, who after being cured of a dangerous fever, proves her gratitude by immediately rising up to serve Christ and others.   Mother encourages us to express our gratitude by resolving to serve Christ and others as the holy women did.
