Reviews
You can never go wrong with a Fr. Lasance book. The content is everything I hoped it would be. There are reflections for every day of the year, with writings from sacred scriptures, saints, and catholic scholars from a bygone era. I love reading Catholic books from 100 years ago and longer, before modernism crept into the church. This Fr. Lasance book is a great, happy, encouraging resource of intellect and inspiration for every day of the year. My only complaint is that its paperback. Were it only hardcover it would have been 5 star.
I am updating my review. If you only had one book to assist you in the Catholic faith, besides the bible, this one would suffice. I have read it every single day since I purchased it. It has a reflections for every day of the year. It contains prayers, devotions for confession, communion, guidance, catechism. Well worth the price.
