Conference from the 2018 Ladies' Retreat
 
Retreats are a time to step back from this busy life and thank God for the many blessings we have received.  Let us take a moment to reflect upon the cure Christ generously bestowed upon a woman, who, spending eighteen years as a cripple, being bent in half, He instantly cured.  Through this event in the life of Our Lord, Mother Mary Bosco describes the effort and sacrifice of this crippled woman to get to Christ, and how the Sacred Heart was moved with compassion to heal her.   From the example of this poor crippled woman, we will learn how to be truly grateful for God’s blessings.
