This Missal is exceptionally aesthetic. The paper is very high quality and does not tear. The cover is sturdy. This is my first Missal and absolutely so happy to be learning how to use this beautiful book. There are so many gems in this Missal. My understanding from doing much research, this is THE Missal recommended by many for Traditional Latin Masses. Thank you so much for having this available to the public when many of us are at home going to Mass daily. Ive never been to a Latin Mass, but sure do want to attend one now! This item is perfect. I've researched to see which book was best and this may be thick but very easy to understand for the simple minded as me. I am glad I found this web site to order my missal rather than other untrustworthy sites. I bought the zipper pouch to preserve it and it is the perfect companion. Quick response and very thorough and came quickly with little prayer gifts as extras - not expecting that! I love it! Unlike a different Latin Missal I have that had most of the pages stuck together from the gold gilt & was hard to pull apart, this is NOT the case with the Father Lasance Missal. The paper is whiter and firmer than most bible pages & easy to read. My kind brother paid for this Missal for my Christmas present. The kind Nuns at Daughters of Mary Press must have shot it out of a canon, because I got it the very next day with regular USPS postage. It is over two inches wide, twice the width of my other Missal.

This missal by Father Lasance is a gem. It contains detailed explanations of the Latin mass, the liturgy of the mass, lots of devotions and prayers. The last time it was updated was in 1950, therefore it is untouched by Vatican II. It is also sturdy.
